Lip Lift Before & After Case 1279

This 72 year old very energetic patient asked Dr. Parker to perform a lip lift to help rejuvenate this area which has lengthened over time and makes the patient look older than she feels. Dr. Parker had the patient look into a mirror and lift her lip into the height she desired. After administering local anesthesia to the area, Dr. Parker excised the marked “bull horn” shaped segment of skin and subcutaneous tissue. He lifted the central lip as well as the oral commissure on either side to completely rejuvenate the entire upper lip. The incision was carefully closed with multiple layers of sutures which allowed the scar to heal imperceptibly. The patient is delighted with her natural looking rejuvenated upper lip area.
