Before & After Photos
Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
During the normal process of aging, the soft tissues of your cheeks and neck descend due to gravity and the skin’s loss of elasticity. This causes wrinkles to form around the eyes, forehead, and jowls. Thankfully, Dr. Paul Parker offers cosmetic options like facelift surgery in Paramus, NJ, to enhance your appearance and keep you looking years younger.
No “Right” Time for a Facelift
Since everyone goes through the facial aging process at different times there is no “right time” to start thinking about a facelift. Men from Ridgewood, Paterson, Jersey City, and other nearby cities who are concerned about reducing the signs of facial aging can be good candidates for the procedure. If you want to look and feel better, there’s no better time than now.
Dr. Parker is experienced in advanced facelift techniques that do not change the appearance of our patients’ facial features. You don’t need to worry that you won’t look like yourself after the procedure. You will look like a younger, more vibrant you, and the results will last for years.
Is There a Facelift Alternative for Men?
Dr. Parker offers a minimally invasive alternative to facelift surgery called FaceTite. This radiofrequency treatment tightens mild to moderate skin laxity of the lower face and neck. It also reduces small areas of fat such as a double chin. Recovery time is just a few days.

Male Facelift Surgery
A facelift takes about 3½ hours to perform, under intravenous sedation or general anesthesia administered by one of our board certified anesthesiologists. Your surgery will take place in our onsite, fully accredited private surgery center, Surgiplex, LLC.
Dr. Parker makes carefully concealed incisions in front of and behind the ear. He then separates the skin along with a 3 to 4 mm thickness of fatty tissue from the submusculoaponeurotic system (SMAS). Dr. Parker next lifts and tightens the SMAS, which elevates the deep facial fat into a more youthful position and gets rid of the jowls.
If needed, he will use fat injections to restore lost volume and create a more natural looking results.
Finally, Dr. Parker will remove excess, sagging skin to restore a smooth, youthful contour to the lower face and neck. Dr. Parker then very carefully closes all of the incisions with sutures to make the resultant scars inconspicuous. In performing this state-of the-art facelift, Dr. Parker achieves a natural and longer-lasting lift in both the face and neck.
