Injectables

Today, there are many alternatives to facial plastic surgery for rejuvenating and enhancing your look. Injectable treatments like dermal fillers and neurotoxins are among the most popular. At the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery, all injectable treatments are performed by our nurse injector, Angela Parisi, RN, who has over 21 years of experience working with cosmetic patients. She is known for natural-looking results with BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, and other injectables at our practice in Paramus, New Jersey.

Your skin evaluation will allow us to recommend appropriate treatments for you. Injectable treatment options include:

  • Neurotoxins: BOTOX® and the Jeuveau® are best for treating dynamic wrinkles, which result from repeated facial expressions. These are narrow depressions in the skin most commonly seen in the forehead, between the eyebrows, crow’s feet, and vertical wrinkles around the lips.
  • Dermal fillers: Best for treating skin fold wrinkles, which occur as the cheeks sag with aging. These are most commonly seen from the corner of the nose to the corner of the mouth (called “nasolabial folds”) and from the corner of the mouth downward (called “marionette lines”)
  • Lip injections: Using dermal fillers or even your own fat, we can plump up and define the lips, and smooth lines around the mouth with results that look natural.

Many of these injectables can be done alone or in combination. Combining dermal filler injections with neurotoxin injections is sometimes called a liquid facelift. These treatments can beautifully restore facial volume, reduce wrinkles, and provide a degree of facial rejuvenation.
