Our Surgeon

Dr. Paul M. Parker is the Medical Director of the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery and of Surgiplex, our 2300 square foot on-site ambulatory surgical facility. He is a well-trained, very experienced board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgical procedures of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Parker operates every day in Surgiplex and oversees the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care given to each and every one of his patients. His commitment to patient safety and satisfaction is unwavering.

Our Anesthesiologists

Our team of anesthesiologists at the Parker Center are all board-certified and members of the full-time attending staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. They have customized their state-of-the-art anesthesia techniques to our plastic surgery patients. Because they work with Dr. Parker every day, and have for over 20 years, they have collaborated to provide very safe, effective ways to keep our patients comfortable during and after surgery.

Using the most up to date anesthesia equipment, our anesthesia team employs short-acting drugs, prophylactic anti-emetics, and pain medications. This allows our patients to wake up very quickly from anesthesia with little “hangover” effect, little likelihood of nausea, vomiting, or post-operative pain. Because of the daily interaction and communication of our anesthesia team with Dr. Parker, patients almost always are awakening shortly after he has inserted his last stitch.

In conjunction with Dr. Parker, our anesthesiologists have contributed to post-surgical regimens which allow a safe, pain-free Rapid Recovery from surgery.

Our Surgical Facility

Surgiplex, certified by JCAHO, AAAASF, and Medicare, duplicates the safety of a hospital in a more relaxed, comfortable, calming environment. All equipment is state-of-the-art, allowing Dr. Parker to employ cutting-edge surgical techniques and our anesthesiologists to perform safe patient monitoring during and following your procedure.

Our registered nurses and surgical technicians are of the highest caliber and work with our doctors on a daily basis. Like any good team who work together day in and day out, our team at Surgiplex has learned to perform these procedures efficiently and safely on a consistent basis.
