Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 194

This 49 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker came in requesting improvement in the appearance of her nose. She asked Dr. Parker to remove her dorsal hump and refine her broad tip. The patient told him that she did not want drastic changes made and how important it was to her that her nose looked natural after surgery. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which he removed the bony cartilaginous hump, performed infractures to narrow the nasal bones appropriately, and re-shaped the patient’s bulbous tip under direct vision. The patient’s recovery was uneventful. She is very happy with the improved yet very natural appearance of her nose.
