Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 1008

Before & After
Case Details
This 42 year old told Dr Parker that she has been bothered by her breasts being smaller than desired and asymmetric for a long time now; she said this significantly affects her self esteem. Dr Parker explained to her that breast asymmetry to varying degrees is the norm, not the exception, and the problem should be improved with the insertion of different size implants. The patient is 5'1" tall, weighs 148 pounds and wears a 34 A cup. During her Sizing Session, the patient selected a 425 cc silicone implant for the right breast and 450 cc implant for the smaller left side. At surgery, Dr Parker used inframammary incisions to create a partial submuscular pocket in both breasts. He carefully lowered the inframammary fold, or crease, on the right side to match the one on the left. He then inserted a 425 cc implant in the right breast and 450 cc implant in the left, as planned. The patient said her recovery was easier than expected. She is very happy with her fuller, much more symmetric breasts and feels a significantly enhanced sense of self esteem.
