Patient of the Month for February 2013 – Facelift

Parker Center for Plastic Surgery

This month’s Featured Patient highlights facelift surgery. A well done, state of the art facelift should rejuvenate a patient to make them look more youthful and well rested, specifically avoiding an “operated look”. A recent study in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal showed that patients  5 ½ years (on average) after their face lift still looked younger than prior to their facelift surgery. Our impression here at the Parker Center has been consistent with this, that facelifts last quite a number of years. This month’s patient, shown 10 years after her facelift surgery by Dr. Parker, still looks rejuvenated and—consistent with this study—younger than she did 10 years earlier.
