Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1253

This 18-year-old was referred to Dr. Parker by a former rhinoplasty patient requesting a smaller nose. Dr. Parker explained during his consultation that he would try to make the nose smaller but did not want to feminize or give him a small nose. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty. He reduced the bone and cartilage on the nasal dorsum, then performed osteotomies and infractures to close the “open roof”. He lifted, reshaped and supported the nasal tip using septal cartilage grafts. The patient recovered quickly afterwards. He and his family are very pleased with the markedly improved, yet natural appearance of his nose.
