Gynecomastia Surgery Before & After Case 678

This 19 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by his pediatrician for treatment of gynecomastia. The patient reported that his breasts enlarged at puberty and have remained that way ever since. He is very self conscious about it but is concerned about scarring. He had arthroscopic shoulder surgery a few years ago and formed thick scar afterwards. The patient is 6′ tall and weighs 193 pounds. Dr. Parker performed liposuction of the patient’s breasts through a tiny inconspicuous stab incision in the armpit area, removing 100 cc of fat from each side. The patient recovered rapidly afterwards. He loves the way he looks including his un noticeable scars. He also feels much more self confident than before surgery and is much more willing to remove his shirt in public than he was prior to the procedure.
