Gynecomastia Surgery Before & After Case 659

This 42 year old was referred by his wife to Dr. Parker, a pre-existing patient. The patient disliked the look of his chest. He said it enlarged at puberty and has persisted to the present regardless of weight changes. The patient is 5’11” and weighs 190 pounds. He works out regularly and is in great shape. During the initial consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out the patient has asymmetric gynecomastia–the left breast is larger and nipple sits more than 1/2 inch lower on his breast. Dr Parker subsequently treated his gynecomastia with SAFE liposuction through a tiny incision hidden beneath each armpit. He then elevated the left nipple areolar complex to the same height as the right with a peri-areolar mastopexy, or lift. A quick, painless recovery ensued. The patient is very happy with his more symmetrical and well-contoured chest.
