Gynecomastia Surgery Before & After Case 633

This 31 year old noted fullness developing in his breasts at puberty and it has persisted until the present time. He is 5’10” and weighs 200 pounds. He says there is little fluctuation in the appearance of his breasts with changes in his weight. He is quite self conscious about his appearance and requested surgical treatment. Dr Parker removed the excessive breast tissue and fat using liposuction through a tiny incision in the patient’s armpit and breast crease. He removed 250 cc of tissue on the left side and 150 cc on the right to even out a pre existing asymmetry. The patient didn’t experience any postoperative pain. He had some swelling and no bruising. He quickly returned to all activities including exercise. He approaches this summer’s outdoor activities with much more self confidence.
