Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 1608

This 74 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to address his excess upper eyelid skin which has developed over time. During his consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out the significant amount of skin hooding over the outer part of the patient’s upper eyelids. He recommended that in addition to the upper eyelid blepharoplasty to remove the excess upper eyelid skin, he perform a temple lift to re-position and lift the hooded skin. The patient agreed to this plan. At surgery several weeks later and under local anesthesia, Dr. Parker performed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty as well as the temple lift using a well concealed incision in the patient’s thick temple hair. The patient is very pleased with his more youthful appearance as well as the inconspicuous scars in his upper eyelids and temple hair.
