Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 1017

Before & After
Case Details
This 55 year old existing patient asked Dr Parker to improve his upper and lower eyelids. He was bothered by the puffiness of his lower eyelids, asymmetric upper eyelids and eyebrows. In addition, he had read on Dr Parker's website about having the corrugator muscles resected at the time of upper eyelid blepharoplasty to minimize, or eliminate, the need for Botox to the glabellar and forehead wrinkles. Dr Parker discussed all of this in detail with him. Several month later, Dr Parker performed the following surgery: an upper lid blepharoplasty removing the corrugator muscles as well as an internal lateral brow pexy. In the lower eyelids, fat was removed and translocated to soften the nasojugal grooves using a transconjunctival approach. A lateral canthopexy was performed to support the lower lid and a conservative amount of skin removed. Postoperatively, the patient was delighted with his quick recovery from surgery and his more youthful, yet natural appearance.
