Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1574

This 22 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested improvement in the appearance of her nose—she said she was bothered by her profile and dorsal hump. She was not bothered by her nasal tip. At the time of her consultation with Dr. Parker, options for treatment were discussed. A closed rhinoplasty was agreed upon, which Dr. Parker performed several weeks later. At surgery, he reduced the bony-cartilaginous hump in component fashion, then performed lateral osteotomies to close the open roof. The patient recovered quickly afterwards and loves the appearance of her nose, feeling much more self-confident than before surgery.
