Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1520

This 31 year old asked Dr. Parker to improve the appearance of her nose. She said her nose was asymmetric, too large and long for her face. Dr. Parker, during the patient’s consultation, explained how an open rhinoplasty could improve the appearance of her nose. She patient liked what she heard and the procedure was subsequently performed. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed a component reduction of the patient's nasal bones and anterior septal cartilage along with lateral osteotomies to help reduce the size of her nose as well as give her a more aquiline profile. He then performed an open tiplasty to refine her nasal tip cartilage as well as shorten the nose. The patient’s postop recovery was unremarkable. She is pleased with the natural appearance of her nose which now appears smaller, shorter, more refined and in better balance with the rest of her face
