Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1201

This 28 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient concerned about the “bump” on her profile. After examining the patient, Dr. Parker reviewed treatment options with her. They discussed reducing the relative excess bone and cartilage causing the “bump” to improve her profile. In addition, Dr. Parker suggested the patient consider refining her tip cartilage to improve the aesthetic balance of her nose. They then reviewed computer imaging of what her nose should look like with those changes made. The patient opted to undergo an open rhinoplasty to address profile and tip. At surgery, Dr. Parker reduced the relative excess nasal bone and cartilage to improve the profile. He also sculpted the patient’s tip cartilage to refine it. The patient said her recovery was easy. She is very happy with the natural and balanced appearance of her nose.
