Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1450

This 24 year old patient asked Dr Parker to reduce her dorsal hump, refine her bulbous tip and keep it from drooping with smiling. During an open rhinoplasty, Dr Parker reduced the bony cartilaginous hump with a “component reduction” of both bone and cartilage, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof”, a tiplasty was performed using lateral crural strut grafts to re position her lateral crura into a more favorable position, and the depressor nasi septi muscles were resected to keep the tip from drooping with smiling. The patient says that though other people don’t really appreciate the difference in the appearance of her nose, she loves how natural it looks and makes her feel so much more self confident.
