Lip Enhancement Before & After Case 979

This 27 year old existing patient of Dr Parker requested permanent fuller lips. She has had temporary improvement with HA fillers in the past but is disappointed in their longevity. Dr Parker discussed options with her including fat injections using her own fat. He pointed out the downsides such as moderately significant swelling afterwards and variable survival of the fat. The patient opted to proceed. Under local anesthesia, Dr Parker harvested fat from the patient's inner thighs, purified it and carefully injected it into her upper and lower lips. The patient swelled predictably afterwards. When the swelling subsided, however, she was pleased with the natural fuller look to both her upper and lower lips.
