Ear Surgery Before & After Case 1205

This 7 year old increasingly expressed concern to his mother about his prominent ears. Dr. Parker explained the anatomical reasons for the ears being prominent and how they could be corrected surgically. The patient and his mother were very much on board. At surgery, Dr. Parker made inconspicuous incisions in the crease behind the patient’s ears which allowed him to properly reshape the ear cartilage and improve their appearance. Following surgery, the patient and his mother said the recovery was easy. Both are extremely happy with the improved and normal contour of the patient’s ears. The mother observed that the surgery had made a huge positive change in the patient’s personality and self confidence.
