This 41 year old, after giving birth to 3 children, requested improvement in the appearance of her breasts, abdomen, hips, inner thighs and knees. She was concerned about the loss of fullness and sagging of her breasts, the excess skin on her abdomen and the fullness which had developed in her hips, inner thighs and knees. The patient is 5’8” tall and weighs 142 pounds. Dr Parker discussed options with the patient during her initial consultation. She wished to have her breasts made fuller with silicone implants and lifted, but did not want a “lollipop” scar. Dr. Parker discussed with her performing a periareolar augmentation mastopexy, using different sized implants, and lifting the left areola more than the right to improve upon the patient’s pre-existing breast asymmetry. At surgery, Dr. Parker inserted a 275 cc silicone implant in the right breast and 225 cc implant in the left, larger breast. He also performed the periareolar mastopexies, as discussed. At the same time, he performed a lipoabdominoplasty as well as SAFE liposuction of the hips, inner thighs and knees. He removed the following amount of fat from these areas: hips—475 cc/ side, inner thighs—300 cc/ side and knees—75 cc / side. Following her somewhat longer than expected recovery, the patient is very happy with the fuller, uplifted appearance of her breasts and more contoured abdomen, hips, thighs and knees. She looks and feels like a new woman!
