Correction of Tubular Breasts Before & After Case 1219

Before & After
Case Details
This 17 year old patient asked Dr. Parker to improve upon the marked asymmetry of her breasts. She wished to have them lifted, fuller and more symmetric. The patient is 5’7” tall and weighs 160 pounds. Dr. Parker carefully explained the patient had very asymmetric tuberous breasts. He elaborated that her procedure would be challenging and though significantly improved, it was very likely she would not be perfectly symmetric afterwards. At surgery, using a peri areolar incision on the left breast, Dr. Parker lowered the inframammary fold, expanded the lower pole of this breast, inserted a 300 cc silicone implant and performed a peri areolar mastopexy. On the right breast, he removed 120 grams of breast tissue, inserted a 175 cc silicone implant and performed a circumvertical mastopexy to lift and match the left breast more closely. The patient recovered quickly after the procedure. She is very pleased with the significant improvement in the appearance of her breasts and appreciative of Dr. Parker’s efforts.
