Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 556

This 51 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by her daughter, an existing patient of his. She asked him to correct her high-riding, firm, asymmetric breast implants, inserted by another plastic surgeon several years ago as well as the fullness of her abdomen. Dr Parker explained her risk of recurrent capsular contracture was high due to her having developed it in both breasts. In order to minimize this risk, he recommended performing bilateral capsulectomies, inserting new implants as well as inserting acellular dermal matrix (ADM). The patient said she understood this plan and wanted to proceed. At surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient’s 240 cc siliconeimplants from her bilateral subpectoral pockets. He expanded these pockets to accommodate the 360 cc silicone implants chosen by the patient in her preoperative Sizing Session. Additionally, Dr. Parker performed his version of a lipoabdominoplasty, otherwise known as a Parker Tummy Tuck, and SAFE liposuction of her hips, removing 700 cc of fat from each hip. The patient was pleasantly surprised by the relative ease of her recovery. She is delighted with the improved size, shape and symmetry of her very soft breasts as well as her rejuvenated abdomen and hips.
