Breast Implant Removal Before & After Case 991

This 55 year old, referred by an existing patient of Dr Parker's, asked him to remove her breast implants. She had 400 cc silicone implants inserted 10 year ago and has had no problems per se with the implants. After much thought and some ill defined symptoms, she decided she wanted her implants removed. Work up by an endocrinologist was negative except for her pre existing Hashimoto's Disease. The patient is 5'8" tall and weighs 130 pounds. Dr Parker subsequently performed explantation surgery, removing the implants and their surrounding capsules through her existing inframammary scars. The patient said  she recovered quickly after surgery with no pain. She is happy to have her implants removed.
