Breast Implant Removal Before & After Case 1026

This 28 year-old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient for removal of her previously inserted breast implants. She had gummy bear implants inserted 3 years ago into a subglandular position using peri areolar incisions by another plastic surgeon. Recently, she was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thryroiditis and decided she wants her implants removed.   Dr. Parker removed, or “explanted”,  her 275 cc silicone implants using the patient’s prior periareolar scars. She recovered quickly and painlessly from the procedure. When seen at her last visit 6 months after surgery, the patient reported she feels great, is off all medications and very pleased with her decision to remove her implants.
