Breast Asymmetry Before & After Case 464
Before & After
Case Details
This 20 year old requested better symmetry between her breasts. She wished to maintain the existing size of her right breast. All options were discussed with the patient, preoperatively. She elected to undergo a mastopexy, or skin tightening procedure, alone on the right side without changing breast size. In the left breast, Dr. Parker inserted a 345 cc smooth, round saline implant in the subglandular plane along with releasing the constricted breast tissue and a purse string periareolar mastopexy in order to lift the breast. Postoperatively, the patient was extremely happy with the result and was not interested in a subsequent more minor procedure to make the breasts even more symmetric.
