Upper Arm Rejuvenation Before & After Case 829

This 50 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested improvement in the contour of her arms. She is 5’4″ tall and weighs 145 pounds. Specifically, she was bothered by the relative fullness and skin laxity of her arms. Dr. Parker reviewed options with the patient: liposuction alone, liposuction with a modified or mini arm lift or a traditional arm lift. The patient decided upon liposuction with a modified or mini arm lift to address both skin and fat excess, yet minimize visible scarring. Dr. Parker removed 125 cc of fat from each arm with VASER liposuction, then removed excess skin and tightened the remaining skin with a 3 inch incision hidden in the armpit area. The patient recovered quickly after her procedure. She is pleased with the modest improvement in the appearance of her arms without visible scarring.
