This 45 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker’s returned to him bothered by the fullness of her abdomen and arms. She is 5’3″ tall, weighs 130 pounds, works out regularly and her weight has been stable. After examining the patient, Dr. Parker explained that because her skin elasticity was good in both areas, he would be able to improve their contour with liposuction alone and her skin elasticity would allow the skin to contract without the need for additional skin tightening. At surgery several weeks later, Dr. Parker removed 400 cc of fat from her abdomen and 300 cc of fat from each arm using SAFE liposuction.
