Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1611

This 31 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, asked him to improve the appearance of her nose. Specifically, she requested him to straighten her very crooked nose, reduce her dorsal hump, refine her bulbous tip and make her nose look smaller. At surgery, Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty, where he did the following: a component bony-cartilaginous hump reduction, lateral osteotomies to close the “open roof”, straightened her crooked nose, set back and re positioned her cephalically oriented, overly projecting lateral crura to make her bulbous tip more refined, widened her nasal bones and middle vault, all of which made her nose look smaller. The patient said her recovery was better than expected and she loves the improved appearance of her nose.
