Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1594

This 46 year old requested improvement in the appearance of her nose—she says it is too long and doesn't like the over-projection of her nasal tip. She says she would like her nose made shorter, smaller, less projecting, as well as her nasal tip refined and lifted. During her consultation with Dr. Parker, the following operative plan was discussed, then executed. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty during which time he reduced her bony and cartilaginous dorsum along with lateral and medial osteotomies, reduced the size of her nasal tip cartilage, refined them with shaping sutures and set back her tip ~ 5 mm. The patient was pleased with her recovery and is very happy with the much-improved appearance of her nose.
