Rhinoplasty Before & After Case 1573

This 19 year old patient requested improvement in the appearance of her nose and chin--she is bothered by her dorsal nasal hump, bulbous nasal tip and weak chin. During her consultation with Dr. Parker, options were discussed and computer imaging performed. The patient elected to undergo an open structural rhinoplasty along with a chin augmentation. At surgery, Dr. Parker reduced the patient’s bony-cartilaginous hump in component fashion, performed lateral osteotomies to close the open roof, a tiplasty to refine her bulbous tip and inserted a #3 extended anatomic chin implant to build out her chin. The patient said her recovery was much easier than expected. She loves the natural look and much better facial balance of her nose and chin after surgery.
