Neck Contouring Before & After Case 1529

This 37 year old asked Dr. Parker to perform liposuction on her neck. She said her father has a full neck but her mother and sister do not. Her neck only became full recently after having had children. During her consultation, Dr. Parker discussed options for neck contouring including liposuction alone or with subplatysmal fat removal and platysmaplasty. Dr. Parker calls this latter procedure “Minimal-Incision Neck Contouring”. The patient opted for liposuction alone. At surgery, Dr. Parker used tiny access incisions in the submental crease and behind each ear to remove excess fat from the patient’s neck. In total, he suctioned 75 cc of fat. The patient was pleased with the speed of her recovery and is very happy with the improved contour of her neck.
