Lip Lift Before & After Case 1617

This 76 year old requested improvement in the appearance of her upper lip. She was very specific in what she wanted, asking for conservative eversion and a little more fullness of her upper lip. She insisted she never had a very full lip when younger. The patient also asked Dr. Parker to improve the fine lines of her upper lip. Under local anesthesia, Dr. Parker precisely removed the agreed upon amount of skin, then carefully closed the incisions with several layers of sutures. Next, he performed dermabrasion of the patient’s white upper lip, removing the epidermis and upper papillary dermis as well as the fine wrinkles they incorporated. The patient said her recovery was better than expected. She is very happy with the improved and natural appearance of her upper lip.
