Lip Lift Before & After Case 1355

This 72 year old very energetic patient asked Dr. Parker to perform a lip lift to help rejuvenate her upper lip which has stretched out over time, making the patient look older than she feels. Before beginning the surgery, Dr. Parker had the patient lift her lip to the level she desired. He then carefully marked the appropriately sized “bull horn” shaped ellipse of skin to be removed. After injecting the area with local anesthesia, Dr. Parker precisely removed the desired amount of skin, then carefully closed the incisions with sutures lifting the upper lip into its desired location. The patient recovered very quickly (she’s shown here one week postop) and loves the more youthful contour of her upper lip.
