Correction of Tubular Breasts Before & After Case 1463

This 19 year old patient requested improvement in the appearance of her tubular (or tuberous) breasts which have bothered her from the time they developed. The patient is 5'6 tall, weighs 130 pounds and wears an A cup. She did not like the puffiness of her areolas and asked that her breasts be made fuller and uplifted. The patient had selected 250 cc silicone implants during her Sizing Session. At surgery, using periareolar incisions, Dr Parker released the constricting bands on the lower pole of the breasts, lowered the patient’s inframammary folds, inserted Galaflex absorbable mesh to support the new folds, put 250 cc Moderate Profile Plus silicone gel implants into the partial submuscular pockets, released the areolas and lifted them higher on the breasts with a peri areola mastopexy. The patient said her recovery was much better than expected. She is very happy with the markedly improved appearance of her breasts.
