Breast Implant Revision Before & After Case 1589

This 36 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, is s/p bariatric surgery 13 years ago whereby she subsequently lost 140 pounds and has maintained that. The patient is 5’10” tall and weighs 168 pounds. She had a breast augmentation and vertical mastopexy elsewhere 10 years ago. At that time, the patient had 650 cc saline implants inserted into a dual plane location. During her recent Sizing and Shaping Session, the patient requested removal and replacement of her saline implants with 700 cc silicone implants. At her subsequent surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient’s implants and re-shaped the pockets to accommodate her silicone implants. In doing this, He reduced the fullness of the lateral pockets with thermal and suture capsulloraphies as well as the insertion of Galaform absorbable internal scaffold. He then performed a secondary vertical mastopexy or “lollipop lift” with several layers of absorbable sutures. The patient healed quickly and well from this procedure. She loves the markedly improve contour of her breasts as well as their look and feel.
