The final incision for an outer thigh and buttock lift extends from hip to hip across the top of the buttocks. The incision for an inner thigh lift is concealed in the groin crease. Both are hidden with normal underwear or bathing suit.
Thigh and Body Lift are performed under general anesthesia usually as an outpatient. Thigh & Body Lift procedures are often combined with abdominoplasty and liposuction. Pain is adequately controlled with oral medication. Patients return to sedentary work within one to two weeks and may slowly resume exercise in four to six weeks.
