Rhinoplasty Patient 25
This 46 year old, referred by another patient, requested improvement in the appearance of her nose which was larger and broader than she would have liked. Dr. Parker had operated on the referring patient’s nose and she was very impressed with what she saw. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty which included a reduction of the bony cartilaginous dorsal hump, infractures to narrow the upper part of the nose, a tiplasty to create a narrower and well defined tip and alar base resections to narrow the width of the lower portion of the nose. The patient recovered quickly from surgery. She was very happy with the better shape and proportion of her nose after surgery.
