This 27 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, was concerned about the appearance of her large nose and dorsal hump. During the initial consultation, Dr. Parker recommended an open rhinoplasty to reduce the dorsal hump and re-shape her bulbous tip. He also suggested inserting a chin implant to help the nose appear smaller and achieve better facial balance. His recommendations were supplemented by computer imaging to give the patient a visual sense and preview of what these changes should look like. The patient liked what she heard and saw and the above surgery was performed by Dr. Parker several weeks later. The patient experienced virtually no bruising, modest swelling and was able to return to activities within 7-10 days.
