This 26-year-old lost 140 pounds following gastric bypass surgery. She had been a double B-cup and now wears a B-cup, having lost significant volume in the breasts with her weight loss. She requested restoration of breast volume by Dr. Parker. The patient is 5′10″ tall and weighs 176 pounds. In her preoperative sizing session, she requested 350 cc silicone implants. The preexisting asymmetry between her two breasts was discussed including options to improve this. The patient was not interested in a formal breast lift procedure. Instead, Dr. Parker inserted 350 cc silicone implants into a dual plane position through periareolar incisions in an effort to restore volume and lift the breast as much as possible. Postoperatively, the patient recovered quickly. She was very pleased with the size and shape of her breasts commenting, that her breasts looked better now than they did years ago when she was heavier.
