Neck Liposuction & Chin Implant Patient 12

This 39 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. She said she has always been bothered by the fullness of her neck and her weak chin. She says these are family traits. The patient is 5’5″ tall and weighs 127 pounds. She was not sure if she needed liposuction of the neck, chin augmentation or both procedures. Dr. Parker carefully explained what each of the two procedures could do and supplemented his discussion with a computer imaging session. Here, the patient was shown what liposuction of the neck alone, chin augmentation alone, or both procedures in combination should do to improve the appearance of her neck and chin. The patient particularly liked the effect of both procedures. Dr. Parker subsequently performed Vaser ultrasonic liposuction on the patient’s neck, removing 50 cc of fat and inserted a # 3 extended anatomic chin implant during the same operation. The patient recovered quickly with little pain after surgery. She is thrilled with the markedly improved appearance of her neck and chin.
