This 34 year old patient requested that Dr. Parker improve the appearance of her nose. Specifically, she was bothered by her dorsal “hump” and “broad tip”. During the patient’s consultation, Dr. Parker discussed how he could perform an open rhinoplasty to improve the appearance of the patient’s nose. He also tactfully suggested that inserting a chin implant would help to build out her weak chin. Dr. Parker explained that a chin implant would complement the adjustments being made to the nose and help achieve better facial balance. The patient agreed with the plan. Dr. Parker subsequently performed an open rhinoplasty, reducing the bony-cartilaginous hump, as well as refining and setting back the patient’s bulbous nasal tip. Dr. Parker then inserted a #3 solid silicone extended anatomic chin implant through a small submental incision. The patient enjoyed a quick, painless recovery. She is thrilled with the appearance of her nose, chin and improved facial harmony.

This 20 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker for improvement in the appearance of her breasts. She had given birth and breast fed her baby a year ago. Her pregnancy was accompanied by considerable weight gain and once she lost this weight, her breasts lost volume and sagged. She wanted to restore the lost volume and have her breasts uplifted. The patient is 5’1” tall and weighs 105 pounds. She currently wears a 32 B cup. During her initial consultation, Dr. Parker told the patient that she could achieve her goals with the insertion of an implant alone in the right breast but would need a peri areolar mastopexy, or relatively minimal breast lift, along with an implant on the left side to improve its appearance. In her Sizing Sessions, the patient selected 325 cc silicone implants. During surgery, Dr. Parker inserted these implants into a partial submuscular position though peri areolar incisions. He then sat the patient upright on the operating table and performed a peri areolar mastopexy, or breast lift, on the left side only to more closely match the right breast. After surgery, the patient healed and recovered quickly. She is very happy with her fuller, perkier and more symmetrical breasts.

This 42 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by another patient, requested improvement in the appearance of her breasts which became smaller and sagged after childbirth and breast feeding. Currently a 34 B cup, she desires to be a C cup with fuller, perkier breasts. The patient is 5’4” tall and weighs 127 pounds. During her initial consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out the pre existing asymmetry of her breasts with the left somewhat larger and droopier than the right. The patient selected a 325 cc silicone implant on the right side and 300 cc on the left during her Sizing Sessions. Dr. Parker inserted these implants into a partial submucular position through inframammary incisions during surgery. The patient enjoyed a prompt, virtually painless recovery. She is very pleased with her fuller and perkier breasts.

This 16 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by word of mouth. She requested improvement in the appearance of her nose. Specifically, she was bothered by her large dorsal hump, broad tip and wide base of her nose. Dr. Parker performed an open rhinoplasty removing the bony cartilaginous dorsal hump, did infractures to narrow the upper nose appropriately, created a more defined but natural looking tip and alar base resections to narrow the base of the nose. The patient recovered rapidly after surgery. She loves the improved and natural appearance of her nose.

This 21 year old was referred by another patient to Dr. Parker with concerns about the fullness of his abdomen, back and flanks. He is 5’9″ tall and weighs 250 pounds. He is very bothered about the fullness of his abdomen, flanks, back and arms. He has always been heavier than he would like. Recently, he lost 40 pounds with intensive exercise but has plateaued. Dr. Parker counseled the patient that liposuction is not a method of weight loss but could be performed to “debulk” the areas which bother him. This will hopefully motivate the patient in his workouts so he can continue to improve these areas. It is possible that additional liposuction might be necessary to “fine tune” these areas once further weight loss is obtained. The patient agreed and Dr. Parker, using VASER ultrasonic liposuction, removed the following amounts of fat: abdomen–2125 cc, flanks–1275 cc each side, back–400 cc each side and arms–125 cc each side. The patient’s recovery was associated with a moderate amount of bruising and swelling which was due to the amount of fat removed. The patient experienced very little pain, however. He has stepped up his workouts and is losing more weight, 25 pounds to date. In addition, he has received many compliments about the way he looks and he feels much more self confident.
