This 32 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by a co-worker, complained of the loss of fullness in her breasts and persistent fullness in her abdomen after the birth of several children. The patient is 5’3″ tall and weighs 130 pounds. A nurse, the patient elected to have a mini lipoabdominoplasty in order to avoid a peri umbilical scar. This was performed by Dr. Parker along with a breast augmentation, inserting 275cc silicone gel implants through infra mammary incisions into a partial submuscular location. The patient recovered quickly and is very pleased with her appearance. She also comments how much better clothes now fit her. She has since referred her husband to Dr. Parker for surgery.

The patient returned 4 years later to Dr Parker, pleased with the results of her original surgery, but wanting to go larger in implants size. During her Sizing Sessions, the patient chose 450 cc silicone implants. These were easily exchanged by Dr Parker at surgery with her original implants using the same incisions. The patient reported her recovery was a non event: no pain, no bruising and a very minimal amount of swelling. She loves her new breast size.

This 51 year old existing patient of Dr. Parker had undergone submuscular saline breast augmentation elsewhere 10 years ago. She said her implants have become more palpable in recent years. She requested Dr. Parker to remove these and replace them with silicone implants. During surgery, Dr. Parker removed the patient’s existing 370 cc saline implants using the patient’s prior inframammary incisions replacing them with 450 cc silicone implants chosen by the patient during her Sizing Session. The patient said the recovery was easy and she did not experience any pain. She is very happy with her softer, natural feeling and somewhat larger breasts.

Lower Eyelid Lift Patient 11

This 35 year old requested improvement in the appearance of her lower eyelids. She was often told by others that she looked tired. She specifically asked Dr. Parker to correct the puffiness immediately under her eyes and the depressions, or grooves, beneath these. Dr. Parker explained the puffiness was due to herniated fat, normally around the eyeball, which often protrudes forward as we age. The depressions are known as the “tear trough” and are a manifestation of the aging process around the eye. Dr. Parker recommended he address these problems as follows: using an incision on the inside of the lower eyelid, remove some of the herniated fat, then transfer the rest to the tear trough filling in the depression. This would have the net effect of creating a better and more youthful transition from the eyelid to the cheek. After both of these were done, he suggested he apply a trichloroacetic acid peel to the lower eyelid skin to improve its fine wrinkling. The patient agreed and this exact plan was carried out. She was happy with the relative ease of her recovery afterwards. The patient is very pleased with her results and has received many favorable comments from friends, family and coworkers who tell her how good she looks.

This 27 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by her sister, also his patient. The patient asked Dr. Parker to make her breasts larger. Currently a 36 B cup, she wished to be a large C, small D cup. The patient is 5’5″ tall and weighs 132 pounds. She recently underwent a 10 pound weight loss and said her breasts became even smaller. During the patient’s initial consultation, Dr. Parker pointed out the pre existing asymmetry between her breasts. He indicated a larger implant would likely be needed in the left and smaller breast. During the patient’s Sizing Sessions, she selected a 475 cc silicone implant to be inserted into the left breast and a smaller implant for the right side to match as closely as possible. At surgery, Dr. Parker used a 475 cc silicone implant in the left breast and 450 cc implant in the right side. The patient said her recovery was quick and very smooth. She is thrilled with the markedly improved size, shape and symmetry of her breasts.

This 48 year old male was referred to Dr Parker by his wife, also a patient. The patient said he was bothered by the fullness of his chest, first noticed as a teenager. He is very self conscious about taking off his shirt, often wearing baggy shirts as a disguise. The patient is 5’9″ tall and weighs 175 pounds. Dr Parker treated his gynecomastia with liposuction to remove fatty tissue, then a specialized cannula to remove the fibroglandular tissue present; in total, 175 cc of aggregate tissue was removed from each side. This was all accomplished through a 3/8″ incision concealed in the armpit area. The patient said his recovery was quick and easy. He is ecstatic with his results after this “scarless” procedure and looking forward to the summer when he plans to go “shirtless” for the first time in many, many years.

This 44 year old was referred to Dr. Parker by a family member, also a patient of his requesting rejuvenation of her torso following a 50 pound weight loss. The patient is 5’9″ tall and weighs 195 pounds. Initially, the patient requested a lipoabdominoplasty along with liposuction of her hips, inner and outer thighs as well as knees. Dr. Parker performed this procedure, removing the following amounts of fat: hips–400 cc/ side, outer thighs–450 cc/ side, inner thighs–200 cc/ side, knees–50 cc/ side. The patient enjoyed a quick recovery. She was very happy with her results but returned 2 years later requesting a lateral thigh and buttock lift to tighten and lift the skin in these areas. Dr. Parker subsequently performed this procedure. The patient again recovered very fast. She is thrilled with her the markedly improved contours.

Wrinkle Reduction Patient 6 – Dermabrasion

This 62 year old patient was referred to Dr. Parker by another patient. During her consultation, she expressed concerns about facial aging. She lost some weight and feels like things have worsened in recent years. Dr. Parker discussed options with the patient. He reviewed the causes and progression of facial aging and together they evolved the following plan:
–a face and neck lift to reposition descended soft tissues along with judicious fat injections to restore lost facial fat which occurred as part of the aging process
–insertion of silastic lip implants to restore lost volume in the lips
–peri oral dermabrasion to smooth the wrinkle lines around the mouth
The above surgical plan was carried out by Dr. Parker. The patient’s recovery was as anticipated. She is very pleased with her more youthful and rested, yet natural appearance.
