This 39 year old requested breast augmentation from Dr. Parker. Her breasts have always been smaller than she would like. She is 5’8″ tall and weighs 120 pounds. She wore an A cup initially. During her Sizing Sessions, the patient selected 350 cc saline implants. Dr. Parker discussed the benefits of silicone implants with the patient, particularly in someone like her who is thin with relatively little soft tissue. The patient felt more comfortable with saline implants and insisted on these. Dr. Parker inserted 350 cc saline implants into a partial submuscular position. The patient recovered quickly with little pain after her procedure. Now a full C cup, she was pleased with the results of her surgery, initially. Subsequently, she returned and requested Dr. Parker to insert larger silicone implants. She agreed that her saline implants were more palpable with more rippling than she would like. During Sizing Sessions, the patient selected 550 cc silicone implants. Dr. Parker removed the patient’s 350 cc saline implants and replaced them with 550 cc silicone implants. Her recovery was extremely rapid associated without any pain whatsoever. She is absolutely thrilled with her results. She now fills out a D cup bra. She loves the larger size, the softness of the silicone implants without any visible or palpable rippling and her improved cleavage.
