“The goal of male rhinoplasty surgery is to achieve an improved, but natural masculine contour, while correcting any internal deformities that may be causing breathing difficulties,” stated Dr. Parker. Melissa is a 30 year old professional who has lived with protruding ears all her life.  After finishing graduate school last spring, Melissa decided to give herself a present of otoplasty surgery.

Otoplasty, commonly known as “ear pinning, is the surgical correction of misshapen, protruding or prominent ears.  The problem develops from a failure of the ears to form a fold in the outer portion of the ear, known as the ‘anti helical fold” in utero. Surgery is performed to re create that fold and set the ears closer toward the scalp through an incision hidden behind the ear.  This surgery is frequently performed on children, often as young as 5 to 6, but can also be done in adults.

Patty is a 60 year old working woman who had begun to develop fine lines around her mouth and lips.  She had considered facial injections to plump up the area, but really didn’t like the idea and having to do it over and over again.

“My upper lip had definitely gotten finer and the lines around my mouth really bothered me.  I couldn’t go out without lip liner and lipstick on.  I looked dead without it,” explained Patty.

Eric is a 38 year old public safety professional who has been embarrassed about his “man boobs” since puberty. He is married with a young child and has wanted to have the male breast reduction in New Jersey for a very long time.

“I’ve been thinking about the surgery since I was like 13 or 14. I’ve been ready for a long time. I never thought it would be this easy or I would have done it sooner,” explained Eric.

Since she was a teenager, Shelby always wanted to have bigger breasts.  As an avid exerciser, she is very fit and always felt something was missing with her figure.  Never having had surgery, Shelby had only recently decided that a breast augmentation was something she should consider.

“I thought that only celebrities had breast augmentation, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve met more and more everyday people, my age that have had it done.  And they look great!  It’s not like you look at them and the first thing you think is boob job.  They look really natural.  That’s what I wanted,” explained Shelby.

Six weeks ago, 68-year old Christine, had upper and lower eyelid surgery and can’t believe how great her eyes look now.  Christine, who’s married and works full-time overcame her husband’s objections to surgery and both of them are thrilled with the results.

Christine had had plastic surgery before, 21 years ago when she lived in Southern California.  Back then she had an extensive facelift, that included her eyes, neck, chin implant and a chemical peel.

“I only wanted to have my eyes done this time.  I had started to develop some droop in my upper eyes, but it was mostly the bagginess and the crepe skin on the lower lids that bothered me,” said Christine.
