New Jersey Plastic Surgery Completes a “Natural” Makeover for this Mom

While considering a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation, Sandra a 46 year old mother of three, decided to get herself in shape.  She lost 25 pounds but was still feeling uncomfortable with her body, so Sandra decided to go ahead and have a tummy tuck.

New Jersey is home to many plastic surgeons, and Sandra saw three other doctors for consultations but chose The Parker Center for several reasons.  First, she was thrilled that the surgery could be done on the premises; she didn’t want to be in a hospital. Second, Sandra loved the staff at The Parker Center. Third, in her first consultation with Dr. Parker she felt he was very caring, and really understood her goals for surgery.

“Mommy Makeover” is an umbrella term for a series of procedures to correct problems caused by pregnancy, and it has taken the cosmetic surgery field by storm. “The ravages of pregnancy can take on a variety of forms,” says New Jersey plastic surgeon , Dr. Paul M. Parker of the Parker Center in Paramus, NJ.

Lipoabdominoplastyis a fairly new procedure and New Jersey plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul M. Parker is one of the few surgeons in the region who perform it. One patient, however, knew exactly what she was looking for when she found Dr. Parker’s Web site. Linda is a soldier in the United States Army, a mom and stationed overseas in Great Britain. When asked in an e-mail interview why she was specifically looking for a surgeon who performed lipoabdominoplasty, she replied, “Looking at other before and after pictures, there seemed to be better results [with this procedure].” The quick recovery was also an important factor in her decision process.

New Jersey Plastic Surgery News: The Parker Center Offers a Twist on the Old Tummy Tuck with Extraordinary Results

In 2007, New Jersey plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul M. Parker introduced a new tummy tuck technique called lipoabdominoplasty to his patients. At a conference in Florida several weeks earlier, one plastic surgeon from Brazil and one from France demonstrated their variations of this innovative technique. Dr. Parker combined what he liked from each technique to create his version of lipoabdominoplasty New Jersey and ran with the idea.

Bergen County Plastic Surgery News: Parker Center Patient Raves About Lipoabdominoplasty Results

Wendy’s smile could be heard in her voice as she spoke about her recent experience with lipoabdominoplasty at the Parker Center. After hearing her story, it became obvious why she was so happy.

Wendy is a petite woman and all of her children were quite large when they were born. Needless to say, that took a toll on her body. She had her last child 7 year ago and knew she wanted to do something but the timing was all wrong. She was finishing up her degree, getting ready to start a new job plus the everyday obligations of family; she kept putting herself on the back-burner.

New Jersey Plastic Surgeon , Dr. Paul Parker, Helps Patient Achieve Desired Body After Losing 100lbs.

I lost 100 lbs. the old fashioned way—with a personal trainer and a better diet. Within 18 months I was healthier than ever and at my goal weight. And yet I was embarrassed to take my shirt off. I would do pushups and look down and see big, sagging skin. How could I come this far without doing something about that? Dr. Parker gave me a new self image. When I look at pictures from 6 months ago, I can’t believe the changes in my own body. It’s shocking to remember living as that “before” picture and exciting to know I don’t ever have to go back there again.

Admittedly, Gloria was in good shape—but after 3 children, menopause, a shoulder operation and gravity working against her, she realized that having a tummy tuck and breast reduction was the best way to get her health back on track.

Gloria actually chose Bergen County plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul M. Parker, after her daughter (also a fitness instructor) had a tummy tuck and raved of Dr. Parker’s work.

So instead of envying her daughter’s results, she made an appointment to have a tummy procedure herself.

My Amazing Tummy Tuck with New Jersey Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Parker

team_photo_janet_04.jpgAs office manager for Dr. Paul Parker’s Paramus plastic surgery practice, I’ve enjoyed a front row seat when it comes to seeing people make positive changes in their appearance.

Although Dr. Parker performs a full range of procedures of the face, breast and body, I felt a special affinity for tummy tuck patients. I related to their stories. After two pregnancies, I was hyper-aware of my own extra skin and forever holding in my stomach. I also identified with their anxiety about anesthesia, recovery, the scar and most of all the guilt of doing something for myself.
