Joanne, 58 year old mother of two, decided it was time to get rid of her 36DDs. She researched on the Web and even though The Parker Center was not all that close to her, she decided it was worth the drive for New Jersey plastic surgeon, Dr. Parker to evaluate her situation.

“My breasts have always bothered me. I am very petite so imagine trying to buy clothes with 36DDs,” says Joanne. “I could never wear the tops I wanted to.”

Men are having plastic surgery in record numbers. According to ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons), in 2010 male cosmetic surgery increased 2% and men now account for 13% of all cosmetic surgical procedures.

There has always been more of a stigma about men undergoing cosmetic surgery. It was always thought to be just for actors or celebrities. Because of that many men opted for less invasive procedures in order to conceal their actions. Increasingly though, men have been coming clean about having surgery rather than lying or hiding their surgery.

Patty is a 34 year old single professional woman who lost over 100 lbs. the old fashioned way (diet and exercise) and has managed to keep the weight off for over three years.  While this achievement alone was worth celebrating, Patty was always unhappy with the excess skin that came along with her tremendous weight loss.

“My doctor had told me there was nothing that could be done about the skin, because I had always been overweight.  The skin had just stretched too much.  After the weight loss, I was a size 18 but I knew if I got rid of the loose skin, I could be a size 12 or even a size 10,” explained Patty.

While considering a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation, Sandra a 46 year old mother of three, decided to get herself in shape.  She lost 25 pounds but was still feeling uncomfortable with her body, so Sandra decided to go ahead and have a tummy tuck.

New Jersey is home to many plastic surgeons, and Sandra saw three other doctors for consultations but chose The Parker Center for several reasons.  First, she was thrilled that the surgery could be done on the premises; she didn’t want to be in a hospital. Second, Sandra loved the staff at The Parker Center. Third, in her first consultation with Dr. Parker she felt he was very caring, and really understood her goals for surgery.

At 55, Susan had had enough of the tummy fat and “flat tire” around her mid-section. She decided it was time to reclaim her body from the fluctuating hormones and side effects of menopause. “I’ve always thought about breast implants, but for the longest time, I was ok with what I had,” she says. “But, once my athletic body started changing so drastically after menopause, I knew it was time to act. Eric, 32, recently came in to see New Jersey plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul M. Parker, about liposuction to correct some stubborn areas of his flanks and abdomen. “I wanted faster results than what I was seeing at the gym,” he says. “5 days a week for 6 months and I still didn’t see the results I wanted. So, I knew it was time to see Dr. Parker.”

“I was in agony after my first liposuction of the abdomen,” she says. “And I think I had one post-op follow-up and never saw my surgeon again.”

28 year-old model, Mesha Seville, wanted to make some minor improvements to her nose by narrowing the tip and nostrils just a bit.

Nicole, 32, decided to finally get rid of the excess weight she put on due to thyroid condition she developed two years ago. Because of her petite frame, the excess weight was making her uncomfortable and made her feel horrible about herself.

“I dieted, exercised and nothing happened,” she says. “So I asked around for referrals for plastic surgeons in NJ. An employee recommended Dr. Parker and as soon as I went in for my consultation, I knew this was the place for me. I just had a feeling, I knew. Iliked the way Dr. Parker explained the procedure to me, his friendly manner, the comfortable feeling of the Parker Center and the helpful nature of all of the staff members there.”
