Eyelid Surgery Makes Joe Photo Ready

After deciding on eyelid surgery, New Jersey resident Joe consulted Dr. Paul M. Parker at the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery.  Joe is a 42-year-old father of two young children.  While his wife and family are busy taking lots of photos of the kids, Joe has been avoiding the camera because of the large bags under his eyes.

“My kids are 4 and 1 so we’re always taking pictures in my family.  I got to hate the way I looked in photos.  I always looked like I’d been up all night.  The bags under my eyes were just unsightly.  I couldn’t stand people always asking me if I was tired,” said Joe.

Eyelid Surgery – New Jersey Patient Christine Loves Her New Outlook!

Six weeks ago, 68-year old Christine, had upper and lower eyelid surgery and can’t believe how great her eyes look now.  Christine, who’s married and works full-time overcame her husband’s objections to surgery and both of them are thrilled with the results.

Christine had had plastic surgery before, 21 years ago when she lived in Southern California.  Back then she had an extensive facelift, that included her eyes, neck, chin implant and a chemical peel.

“I only wanted to have my eyes done this time.  I had started to develop some droop in my upper eyes, but it was mostly the bagginess and the crepe skin on the lower lids that bothered me,” said Christine.

New Jersey Eyelid and Brow lift Surgery at the Parker Center Discovers a Minimally-Invasive Solution for a More Youthful Look and Quick Recovery

As we age, each part of the body shows it differently. Around the eyes, common aging signs include hooding of the upper eyelid skin, drooping eyebrows and constant scowl lines between the eyes. New Jersey plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul M. Parker, has a relatively simple solution to the problem.

“When I evaluate a patient’s upper eyelids, I look at the position and shape of their eyebrows as well,” says Dr. Parker. “As we age, our skin loses its tone and elasticity causing the skin of the upper eyelids to become lax. As aging progresses, the degree of laxity worsens and the eyebrows themselves descend. The excess upper eyelid skin over the outer aspect of the eye “hoods” over the corner of the eye, like a falling curtain. The overall effect is a tired, aged appearance.”

Dr. Paul M. Parker asks that you please read this and contact our Senators to oppose the Federal Cosmetic Surgery TAX

Democratic leaders in the Senate unveiled their proposal for overhauling the health care system, which includes a new 5% tax on elective cosmetic procedures. Senate Democrats argue that the tax, which was a surprise addition to the sweeping 2,074-page bill, will generate $5.8 billion over the next 10 years to be put towards the bill’s estimated $849 billion price tag. However, this tax as discriminatory, arbitrary and ineffective.

New Jersey Plastic Surgery News: Patient Knew Dr. Parker Was the One for Her Rhinoplasty and Eyelid Surgery

At 25, Angela is a well-adjusted and confident woman. Ask her what she would change about herself and she would quickly say, “My nose and eyes.” Family genes often run deep in families and Angela’s is no different. “My dad has the same nose,” she says. “On a girl though, it was out of place with the rest of my features.”

Though her eyes are less about genetics, as she got older, the puffy bags became more prominent and actually began to bother her more than the nose she’d had all of her life. At only 25, “I looked tired all the time and a lot older than my 25 years,” says Angela. “I tried creams. I tried lotions. I even had massages and nothing worked. I knew surgery was my only option.”

Parker.  Crediting ‘natural’ results to state of the art techniques and surgical judgment, Dr. Parker reveals in the following article what every potential eyelid surgery patient must know to avoid a case of plastic surgery gone-bad.

New Jersey eyelid surgery (or Blepharoplasty) is an extremely popular cosmetic procedure to firm up and smooth out lines, wrinkles and folds in the eyelid area.

Men and women alike have been known to embrace the procedure, as wrinkled or puffy eyelids can cause a person to look unnecessarily old, tired, sad or angry.  Yet the real challenge for any prospective eyelid surgery patient is finding a doctor that will help them look ‘natural,’ as opposed to ‘operated on’.
