Post Bariatric Surgery Patient 1
This 32 year old patient was seen 1 year after gastric bypass surgery and the loss of 100 pounds. She was bothered by her sagging breasts, hanging abdominal and thigh skin and remaining excess fat.
At her current 5 feet 7 ½ inches tall and weighing 132 pounds, an abdominoplasty along with lateral thigh and buttock lift were performed by Dr. Parker. In addition, a breast lift with augmentation was performed with the insertion of a 330 cc saline implant on the right side and 390 cc implant on the left. The patient is very pleased with her much improved upper and lower body contour.
Post Bariatric Plastic Surgery
With the growing popularity of gastric bypass surgery to treat morbid obesity we have seen a dramatic increase in patients seeking facial and body contouring after this procedure. The massive weight loss which occurs following bypass surgery results in excess, sagging skin. Our goal is to remove the extra skin in affected areas and leave scars which are as inconspicuous as possible. Procedures commonly performed include abdominoplasty, lateral thigh and buttock lifts, medial thigh lifts, breast lifts, arm lifts and facelifts. The surgeries are performed in a safe, certified facility one year after bypass surgery or when weight loss has plateaued for three to six months.
