This 34 year old patient was bothered by the “fullness” of her neck since in her early twenties. Because she had good skin tone, liposuction was performed by Dr. Parker. A natural-appearing, more youthful neck was obtained.

A 3 to 4 mm incision is made under the chin and behind each earlobe. The area to be sculpted is infiltrated with our “super wet” solution. VASER ultrasonic liposelection is performed in about 30 minutes usually with light intravenous sedation. Patients are discharged after one hour. There is little pain and all sutures dissolve. Swelling and discoloration subside within seven to ten days. Camouflage make-up can be applied after one week.
