Lipoabdominoplasty Patient 19
This 31 year old, referred to Dr. Parker by two of her physicians, requested breast enhancement. The patient had been a C cup prior to the birth of her children and subsequent to their birth had become an A cup. She would like her prior volume restored. The patient is 5′1″ tall and weighs 105 pounds. Based on the results of the patient’s Sizing Session, Dr. Parker inserted silicone gel implants into a partial submuscular position through an inframammary incision. He used 375 cc on the right side and 350 cc on the left side in order to optimize symmetry. The patient enjoyed a smooth recovery. She was very happy with the restoration of her youthful breasts.
Lipoabdominoplasty New Jersey
Lipoabdominoplasty is a relatively new procedure that combines aggressive liposuction of the abdomen with many of the principles of a Classic or Traditional Abdominoplasty. The Lipoabdominoplasty procedure begins with liposuction of the entire abdomen. The skin below the umbilicus is excised similar to a classic abdominoplasty, although lymphatic vessels are preserved to minimize postoperative swelling and promote a more rapid recovery from surgery. Next, limited undermining of the upper abdominal skin flap is performed, preserving many blood vessels and nerves to the abdominal wall. The rectus muscles are then plicated. Finally, the upper abdominal flap is advanced and closed with multiple layers of dissolvable sutures that minimize scar tension and postoperative scar spreading.
