Breast Reduction Patient 21
This 63 year old patient, referred by another patient of Dr. Parker’s, was bothered by the large size of her breasts for sometime. She thinks they have gotten worse over the past year, causing her neck and back pain; the shoulder straps on her bras dig in as well. The patient wears a DD bra. She is 5′3″ tall and weighs 140 pounds. Dr. Parker performed a central pedicle breast reduction, removing 450 grams of tissue on the right side and 325 grams on the left. The patient healed well after surgery. She is quite happy with the improved size and shape of her breasts. The patient now wears a C cup bra. She no longer has neck or back pain and her shoulder straps no longer dig in.
